Was WW2 really “The Good War”?

An article by Patrick Buchanan. He doesn’t guess at what the alternative to war might have looked like. Without that, it’s a bit difficult to make the cost-benefit analysis.

I think the article is a taster for the book “Human Smoke” by Nicholson Baker. And Buchanan’s own: “Churchill, Hitler and The Unnecessary War”.

Some interesting questions.
